Perfect Life

a ship sailing in distant waters
not to be seen by eyes of light
i see it drowning in the echoes of dark laughter
every moment pretending vanity doesn't exists..

if the stars were less gloomy or the lights din't fade,
we'll all have faith in sun, still treacherous stars we'll try to persuade.

Earth lies as a mother about to lose her son
tells us everything wrong about us can be undone.

for stupidity is harmless and yet fatal,
go on son, find peace in death or your perfect life.

empty words are cruel and so is the solace in them,
what are we? nothing significant if we don't pretend.

asked everyone for my approval, forgot my own voice
burning everything down for pleasure, comfort and rejoice.

breathing is not living, or it would be fulfilling,
all we see is a distant happy world,
and everyone have one of that in his head, to call his own..
