Free City

Wise man is all free, fools are in debt,
with the clock, worthless repetitions they enact.
growing over something undesired is their pact,
and everything they do are love defying acts.

For them, time is money they need to spend,
life is fate gone awry, curable by money's wand.
but they also think of the freedom not at their hands,
and all they hope is to that their children will make amends.

Ruthless are the stigmas of this plagued human society,
for it praises the dare of the criminal, glorify him as mighty.
and the bodies of our soldiers, unattended can decay frosty.
while all the vices ever invented can be learned in any university.

prayers are answered in efforts, not life in adversity,
let nothing be pure and holy than the human unity.
helped will be God by us, for already he is in pity,
let all roads converge to make earth a free city.

  1. I did read this time, a good read indeed.
"while all the vices ever invented can be learned in any university." True that!
